The Duchess of Sussex is reminiscing on her old school days.
Before she was on TV and married into the British royal family, Meghan Markle grew up in Los Angeles and attended a private all-girls Catholic school.
In a new post to her Instagram grid, the royal shared her reaction to a decades-old photograph taken from her high school years resurfacing.

“When your dear friend from middle school/high school sends you something from your Alma mater and it brings the biggest smile to your face,” the royal captioned the pic.
Meghan was in the class of 1999 at Immaculate Heart in Los Angeles.
In the throwback picture, a teenaged Meghan is standing in a garden next to a statue of what appears to be Mary holding baby Jesus.

Proving she’s kept her school spirit all these years on, she signed off with “Go Pandas”.
According to her high school, the photo was taken for Mary’s Day.
The royal’s former high school originally shared the photo to their Instagram account hours earlier to celebrate a recent success in the duchess’ career.

“Congratulations to IH alumna Meghan Markle (’99) on the renewal of her Netflix series and launch of her new podcast!” the school wrote.
Meghan’s new lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, was recently renewed for a second season shortly after its first season release earlier this month.
The Duchess also announced she is launching a new podcast called Confessions of a Female Founder where she chats to other entrepreneurs.
