A bride and groom flying to their wedding destination have been handed a sweet surprise by fellow passengers.
Kirsten and Sam were on an Alaska Airlines flight to Phoenix, Arizona in the US for their wedding on May 22 when staff decided to ask passengers to share their best marriage advice.
They were more than willing to share, writing their words of wisdom on napkins and pieces of note paper.

“Marriage advice from our fellow passengers,” she wrote alongside the video.
“Thank you to the sweet angels on Alaska for making this happen and to all the people who shared advice. We’ll cherish these forever.”

The video begins with a photo of the couple before cutting to images of passengers writing their notes.
We then see a pile of notes that have been handed to the bride and groom before Kirsten shares individual images of each of them.
Two of the passengers have been married for 40 years, having met in high school.
”Our advice to you is never give up, nothing is perfect. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Never stop communicating. Never go to bed mad,” their note read.
Another said: “Keep God at the center of your marriage and have fun together. Don’t forget to be best friends [and] laugh at the little thing. Stick together through the hard times [and] good times will eventually come again.”
Another couple on the flight who tied the knot in 2023 said: “Embrace everything together. In an ever-changing world, you will be each other’s constant,” they said.

“Rely on each other while seeking out the incredible moments of your journey. It’s beautiful!” the couple added.
One passenger shared: “Unspoken expectations are premeditated resentments. Be nice, communicate wants and needs.”
To this, bride Kirsten commented: “Literally LOVED that persons advice.”

Another said: “Always respond to your partner’s bids for attention. If they say the sunset is pretty, drop everything and enjoy it together. If they ask if they look nice, truly take a moment to take them all in and give them a compliment. If they give you a quick hug, hold them longer. These small moments matter for intimacy.”
To one TikToker’s suggestion she turn the notes into “an amazing piece of art” to preserve them forever, Kirsten said, “I was already trying to figure out how to turn these into something we could see everyday in our home.”

“literally so special to have so many people share their advice and well wishes, blown away by the kindness,” she later added.
