Robert Irwin reflects on working with Prince William

Robert Irwin has spoken about working with Prince William, labelling him “a great guy”.

The pair, who are both passionate conservationists, teamed up in 2024 when Irwin, 21, was named as one of two global ambassadors for the Prince of Wales’ Earthshot Prize, alongside Nomzamo Mbatha in September 2024.

“I think Prince William has been such an amazing person to work with,” Irwin told Us Weekly

He also said Prince William is a “true environmental hero”.

Irwin said working alongside the royal has been “a great privilege”, adding that they’ve “definitely compared a lot of notes in the conservation space”.
