Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are slowly introducing their kids to the world via social media after years of keeping them out of the spotlight.
This shift in the online presence of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet is just the first sign of things to come according to The Palace Papers author and journalist, Tina Brown.
“They’ll be growing up in a celebrity world, their friends will probably be the sons and daughters of celebrities,” Brown tells 9honey about their LA lives.

The shift in the online presence of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet is just the first sign of things to come for the future “Hollywood kids” The Palace Papers author and journalist, Tina Brown, tells 9honey (Getty Images for SXSW London)
“They’ll be Hollywood kids like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s kids, they’ll probably have very little in common with their English cousins. They’ll be very different.
“I think it’s a pity they couldn’t send their kids to school in England. I think that would be good, but I don’t think they ever will.”
Brown says that comes down to Prince Harry’s concerns about security and safety of his family in the UK but believes he’s overlooking the gun culture in the US.
“Harry’s got this obsession that they’re not safe. I personally think they’re way safer in the UK,” Brown says.

“I mean, kids are gunned down at school all the time in the US, it’s a gun society, so I don’t know why he feels safer in the US. I wouldn’t if I were him.”
Brown admits there may be threats the public is unaware of but believes ”if it was as bad as he says, then Scotland Yard would be running every time he comes”.
“I just don’t know what the security obsession is about, frankly,” she says.

“He feels obviously very keenly about it, and obviously we don’t know what kind of threats he’s facing, but I do have a feeling that if it was as bad as he says, then Scotland Yard would be running every time he comes.
“He were much safer living in the protected sphere of Windsor Great Park or in Kensington Palace than he would be anywhere else.
“So I think it’s all just him putting yet another grievance in the way, even if he doesn’t realise that himself, he keeps doubling down on it.”

Brown says as much as Harry and Meghan want to keep their kids away from the royal spotlight, there’ll come a time when it will be out of their hands.
“There’s going to be a great deal of interest in the 18-year-old Archie and the 18-year-old Lilibet – they’ll be the coolest kids in Bel Air, for sure,” Brown predicts.
“So, yeah, we have a lot of storyline to go.”
