Tim Hayden gives away a free watch to first person to say ‘love your journey’ catch phrase

People have been scrambling around the world to win a free watch from the same man.

All they need to do in exchange is say three specific words.

When he started his own watch brand from scratch, Tim Hayden came up with an unconventional idea to get the sales rolling and grow his business.

The Hagley Watch founder started doing something he coined the “Find Tim Challenge”.

The basis of this is as literal as it sounds. One lucky person will walk away with a watch free of charge – all they need to do is find where Tim is.

For each challenge, Hayden sets himself up in a different city and drops clues to his followers about his location on his social media.

Once he’s set up in the undisclosed spot, the countdown is quite literally on, with the CEO setting a timer for how long the giveaway offer lasts.

The first person who manages to find him before time runs out gets the chance to win a free watch.

All they have to say to seal the deal are three magic words: “Love your journey.”

Hayden has amassed a global following with his interactive business idea.

As of June 2025 he has 1.9 million followers on TikTok and 917,000 on Instagram.

“I decided to try a unique idea to connect with my audience,” Hayden explained in a video posted to his Instagram account in November.

If you scroll through Hayden’s social media feed, it’s stacked with lots of videos of his challenges taking place all across the United States and the UK. 

The star even travelled to Australia last year.

“Over 2,000 Aussies came out to find me, for which I’m eternally grateful,” he shared, revealing he’s even planning on returning Down Under later this year.
