Prince Edward has become the first royal man to visit his brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsorafter being kicked out of his home for 20 years and arrested for his alleged ties to deceased pedophiles Jeffrey Epstein.
But perhaps it was not a cordial visit.
The sun reports that Edward, 62, was due to stay at Wood Farm this week, as he does every Easter weekend, but because Andrew, 66, has holed up in the property, his younger brother had to stay in the main house of the nearby estate.
While the Duke of Edinburgh was staying at the royal family’s estate at Sandringham, Norfolk, he decided to visit his disgraced older brother and have a ‘quiet word’.

A source told the newspaper: “Andrew has been dragging his heels. He could have made a move but was reluctant. Edward had a quiet word with his brother.”
Andrew was temporarily staying at Wood Farm as his residence at Marsh Farm on the same estate was being established so he could live there permanently.
The source added that not even Andrew’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, nor his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, have visited the former prince since he was smuggled out of the Royal Lodge under the cover of darkness in February.

Edward was forced to speak out about Andrew’s arrest after he was questioned at a conference in Dubai. (Nine/supplied.)
Edward was also the first royal to speak out following Andrew’s arrest in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office over his name in the Epstein files, with the Duke of Edinburgh siding with ‘the victims’.
During a conference in Dubai, Queen Elizabeth II’s youngest son was confronted with a question about his older brother. He responded: “I think it’s all very important to always remember the victims, and who the victims are in all of this.”
Edward was far from the first royal to visit Sandringham since Andrew’s arrest. King Charles III spent a week last month in a home a mile away from where Andrew was.
