US military rejects claims Iran struck US Navy vessel

Iranian news agencies – including the semi-official Fars agency and the Iranian Labor News Agency – claimed that Iran had attacked a US naval vessel southeast of the Strait of Hormuz, accusing it of “violating maritime safety and navigation standards”.
