Khloé Kardashian declawing cats: Reality star says she was misadvised

Khloe Kardashian shared her regrets after declaiming her catswhich revealed she had been “misadvised” about the process.

On her podcast, Khloe in wonderland, the 41 year old said her action was born out of ignorance.

“I was really discouraged from having my cats declawed,” she said on the May 20 episode of her podcast.

“I’ve never had cats before. I didn’t even know they existed. I feel really terrible for going this route.

“I feel like that’s why my cats are miserable and it was my fault.”

Kardashian owns two cats, Gray Kitty and Baby Kitty, and described their behavior as erratic and chaotic.

She said she took steps to ensure the cats’ safety after the declawing

“My cats wear air tags, like they’re not even allowed near a door. I’m so scared when they get out because they can’t defend themselves. They’ve lost their protective equipment, so it makes me sad.”

The reality star opened up about the struggle she had getting her cats to get along.

She said she first got Gray Kitty, who was a “holy cat. Never did anything wrong,” so she decided to get a second cat, Baby Kitty.

As soon as she did, Gray Kitty became territorial and started peeing on their bed and causing chaos.

She tried all the tips and tricks the vet and breeder suggested, such as using a pheromone collar, but it didn’t help.

Eventually, “she had to set up cameras to see which cat did it. I found out it was Baby Kitty,” who began to mimic Gray Kitty’s behavior.

“Grey Kitty is an angel again, and now I have Baby Kitty, who is now a demon,” the entrepreneur shared.

“What should I do? Because I can’t live like this. I don’t know what to do,” the star asked her fans.

“The vet and the breeder, everyone says, ‘We’ve never seen a cat do this. We’ve never seen a cat do this in so long.’ They have given me all the suggestions, all the tips, but even if she is not happy, I don’t know what to do.

“I’m in an animal circus,” she said.

Kardashian also owns a black Labrador named Peppermint and is adopting the pup for her family for Christmas in 2025.
