Shaky, watermarked images from a shipping container don’t normally cause this kind of reaction.
These images, taken by a YouTuber and now under investigation following a violation report, are the first the general public has seen from inside the shipping container itself.

An overturned boat just outside the shipping container appears riddled with bullet holes sustained when Freeman was shot during a shootout with police late last month.
It’s a messy picture, with pillows piled high, boxes, buckets and shelves covered with things you’d expect to find in a shed.
But there are also signs that someone apparently lives there: an old stove, blankets, a box of rice crackers, Ugg boots and a pile of car batteries apparently connected to a generator and solar panels outside.
On a table in the corner of the container are spirits, vitamins, a notepad, a pen and some tissues.

There is a huge hole in one wall that was apparently caused when the police BearCat pushed a nozzle through it to gas Freeman out.
There’s an old brown couch, a hand-wound AM/FM radio, a hand blender hanging on the wall, and a bunch of other stuff that can really only be described as nonsense.
YouTube channel The Chaos Chronicles published the video on April 16 and has since received more than 60,000 views.
Victoria Police this evening confirmed they were investigating a report of trespassing at the Murray River Road estate in Thologolong on that date.

“Investigators are aware of a video posted online in connection with the violation and are investigating the circumstances,” a spokesperson said in a statement.
“The investigation is still ongoing.”
The man in the video says he sent his drone up to take a look and was “abiding by the rules,” but when it crashed on the property he decided to retrieve it.
“Obviously, after the drone crashed, I had to go in and retrieve it, especially since it crashed in the middle of a very dry tree,” he says.

“I was absolutely overwhelmed by the fear that a fire might start, so I had to go and pick up the drone.”
He later adds, “We’re here for the real footage now. Don’t worry about the drone footage.”
Police say Freeman murdered Senior Constable Neal Thompson and Senior Constable Vadim de Waart-Hottart at a property in Porepunkah, about 90 kilometers south-east of Thologolong, in August last year.
He fled into the bush, sparking a massive manhunt that only ended with his death last month.
A date for a judicial investigation has not yet been announced
