There are some items that cause an absolute frenzy in the middle aisle of Aldi and one of them is coming back – so get ready.
Once again Ecovacs, the makers of robot vacuums, are heading back to the middle aisle and the model on offer is a step up from what shoppers snapped up at the start of the year and almost half the retail price.
The vacuum is going to hit stores on June 14 and if it’s anything like previous times these products have been on offer, it’ll sell out in minutes.

For anyone who’s looking to make getting on top of household chores easier or just needs to upgrade the vacuum, this is the buy for you.
Heading to the middle aisle is the Deebot Neo 2.0 Plus – which you’ll be able to snap up for just $499.
The model is currently retailing for $949, which makes grabbing one at Aldi very tempting.
Turns out there’s even more to love about this model than the fact it’ll get your floors clean without having to do any of the hard work yourself.

Powerful suction, 180 minutes of run time and the ability to control it all from an app? Yes please. (Supplied)
This model has the added benefit of auto-emptying, making the whole process basically hands-free for you.
It also features 5,000Pa suction power, 180 minutes of run time, fast-mapping and carpet detection, which is all easily managed via the app on your smartphone.
10 cleaning mistakes that actually make your home dirtier
Now, one of the best things about it being linked to an app is you can control the robot from the comfort of the couch – or in bed, if you want a leisurely sleep-in while you kick-start the chores – or even from the office.
The app means you can control the robot and either schedule the cleaning time or check in on the current cleaning status.

The maps the app stores can also be individually adopted and there’s functions like creating a virtual boundary, which limits where the vacuum will go.
At just under $500 it’s still an investment, but it is one of the cheaper ways into this kind of robot vacuum.
“We’re excited to share that the ECOVACS DEEBOT NEO 2.0 PLUS is back in ALDI’s Special Buys middle aisle!” said a spokesperson for ALDI Australia.
“This smart little helper comes with an auto-empty station and loads of handy features – all for just $499. It’s a great pick for anyone looking to make cleaning easier and save some time for the things that really matter.”

“We are proud to redeliver such an incredible home robotics solution for $499, especially at a time when households are navigating rising costs but still seek premium, smart and time-saving technology,” said Karen Powell, Regional Director, ECOVACS ANZ.
“More than a DEEBOT, it’s about helping Australians reclaim their time for what really matters and reinforcing our ongoing commitment of Robotics For All.”
