Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor spends first night inside his new home, Marsh Farm, on King’s Sandringham Estate

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has moved to his new permanent home, Marsh Farm, on the King’s private Sandringham estate.

The former prince lived in temporary accommodation, Wood Farm, while renovation work was carried out at the nearby property.

Andreas, 66, was expelled from the vast Royal Lodge in Windsor earlier this year after revelations about the extent of his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Wood Farm – where the late Prince Philip spent much of his retirement – ​​was where Andrew stayed when he visited arrested on February 19which happened to be his birthday.

The former Duke of York was interrogated for almost 12 hours on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Andrew was accused of sharing private information with Epstein during his years as a British trade envoy. He was released without charge pending an investigation.

Last week, the Crown Prosecution Service said it was providing “early investigative advice” to police regarding the investigation into Andrew’s links to Epstein.

Communications between the king’s younger brother and Epstein were contained in a cache of files released by the US Department of Justice.

Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s relationship with Epstein led to King Charles stripping them of their Duke and Duchess of York titles in October last year.

On Tuesday, Andrew was seen walking his dogs between Wood Farm and Marsh Farm on the Norfolk estate.

A short time later, members of his staff were seen delivering bags to the five-bedroom property.

Until now, Marsh Farm had been empty for years and recently had wooden fences erected and a new security system installed.

The two reception rooms and the kitchen of the property at the front of the house, extensive work required before it was considered viable.

In December, a no-fly zone around Sandringham was extended to Marsh Farm, which is about two miles from the main building where the royals celebrate Christmas every year.

According to British media reports, Andrew is leaving Wood Farm this Easter weekend to allow Prince Edward and his wife Sophie to use the property for a short break, as they have done in the past.

Instead, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh stayed at the nearby Gardens House.

Prince Edward is said to have done that visited Andreas recentlythe first member of the royal family to do so since the former prince’s exile.

The 62-year-old joined King Charles and Queen Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales Easter Sunday at Windsor Castle. But according to reports, the Duchess pulled out at the last minute because she felt bad.

Andreas two daughters, Princess Beatrice And Princess Eugeniewere too absent from the Easter celebrations with the royal family.
