“I’ve had people say that they feel sorry for my child, or that I’ve set her up for a lifetime of bullying,” the young mum told What’s The Jam.

“They’ve called me a chav, or [say] that I’ve tried to win a competition for the world’s weirdest name.”

Hutton’s video explaining her daughter’s unusual name has clocked up 3.8 million views so far on TikTok, with her follows sharing their thoughts on her choice.

”So you pick an unusual name and then get upset when people that have never seen/heard it before can’t pronounce it. you’re a 🚀,” one commented.

“Well that is entirely your fault she has to live with explaining got the rest of her life, just remember you did that to her,” added another.

Another even stated that “studies have found that kids that have to explain their names are negatively affected with their self confidence”.

One TikToker simply commented: “If this is the worst thing you have to worry about count yourself lucky!!”

Hutton explained she chose to give the one-year-old a unique name having been one of many Emma’s during school.

“I used to joke with my mum about how many other girls were in my year with the same name,” she told the publication.

”I didn’t want that for my children and I always loved something unique.”

Hutton, who works as a nail technician, said she first heard of the name from a client and added that her husband was supportive of the idea.

She did admit her parents “didn’t like it very much” but they have since come around.
