Cops urge ute driver to come forward after 12-year-old struck

A driver is wanted after a boy was hit by a car Sydney’s southwest yesterday.

Emergency services were called to Milperra Road in Revesby, between Edgar Street and Mons Road, at around 3.20pm.

Paramedics found and treated a 12-year-old boy who had been hit by a car in the westbound lanes of the road.

He was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.

Police were told the boy was struck by the passenger side of the car driving from the scene.

Investigators have released images of a car described as an orange or gold Nissan Navara with a hardtop, silver bull bar and black wheel hubs.

The driver of the car is asked to come forward.
