Duchess of Sussex’ new post attending a James Taylor concert with Prince Harry captures attention

Usually when we see a royal, it’s during a public appearance that has been planned by royal aides to the nth degree or in a methodically scripted royal address.

So, when we see them in an environment far removed from the strict dress codes, old-timely traditions and highly-regulated formalities we’re so used to, we can’t seem to get enough of it.

It’s why the Duchess of Sussex’ latest Instagram dump has her fans hooked.

They were welcomed backstage to meet with Taylor, who signed a copy of his book for them.

The royal couple then posed for a photo with the six-time Grammy winner.

In the photo, both Harry and Meghan appeared very laid back. Meghan wore a simple jumper as Harry matched a grey jacket with a grey beanie.

The pair smiled as they posed with the famous musician.

“In my concert era. Thanks James” Meghan captioned the post.

During the concert, the royal couple sat among the audience as they watched the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s concert at Santa Barbara Bowl.

Granted, Harry and Meghan haven’t been living like their royal relatives since they quit the royal family back in 2020.

But seeing the pair, one of the most famous couples in the world, in such a laid-back manner – cosied up in a beanie among a crowd of fellow fans – is a sight to behold.

It’s like seeing a fish out of water and is something that takes a bit of getting used to after centuries of seeing royals in such formal settings.

We’ve recently seen a lot more of the Sussex family as Meghan shares a more intimate look into their every day lives on social media.

But its not just Harry and Meghan who we’ve seen in a more casual light.

Meghan’s recent photo echoes one posted by the Prince and Princess of Wales last year.
