Emergency services search for missing Adelaide fisherman Eh Kapaw Doe in South Australia

Eh Kapaw Doe was last seen in an area off Recreation Drive in Port Gawler at around 10.30pm yesterday.

Police said he was fishing with a group of friends who began searching for him after his light went out in the distance.

Multiple emergency services teams are searching the mangroves on Recreation Drive and the coastline from Port Gawler to Middle Beach.

This includes the South Australia Police Water Operations Unit, PolAir, the State Emergency Service and Surf Life Saving SA.

Emergency crews used hovercrafts and jet skis to search for Doe.

According to the family, the young fisherman knows the area well and can also swim

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the fisherman walking in the area, helped him or gave him a lift.
