Alongside it she shared a picture of her bag filled with empty bottles of the perfume Ghost.
The post garnered hundreds of comments, many of which shared similar advice.

“I have satchels of lavender and other herbs I keep in my clothing drawers!” one added, drawing on the ’90s trend of putting potpourri inside little bags to keep inside drawers.
Some were concerned about the effects of the chemicals in such close quarters to clothes and especially undergarments.
“Isn’t this awful for your lady bits?” questioned one.
“This is a good way to get some infections ma’am,” another added.
“I wish I could do this but I’d for sure get a UTI,” one said.

This hacks also works for other closed areas such as cars, with one commenter sharing, “my aunt taught us to put a high end hand soap in your car and it smells amazing and lasts forever! Forget those expensive air fresheners that last 2 days!”
