Hannah Dal Sasso Thanasi Kokkinakis split: Model debuts new romance with Rupert McLean

Hannah Dal Sasso has gone public with a new romance months after splitting from tennis pro ex Thanasi Kokkinakis.

The Australian model made her red carpet debut with new boyfriend Rupert McLean on Wednesday night at Glamour on the Grid, where they celebrated the launch of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix.

It came just 24 hours after Dal Sasso made their relationship Instagram official on Tuesday night.

The 28-year-old shared an Instagram Story of McLean planting a kiss on her temple at Ralph Lauren Fragrances’ ‘The Moment Before’ soirée on Tuesday night, where she wowed in a slinky red dress.

Dal Sasso also spilled a few details about her new flame at the event, revealing they’ve been dating for about a month.

“It’s still early days but he understands and gets my job and it’s good to be able to go to events with him,” she told the Herald Sun.

The couple met through friends, she revealed to the publication.

McLean works in finance and is the son of former Real Housewives of Melbourne star Susie McLean and former St Kilda Football Club president Rod Butterss.

The very next day, he and Dal Sasso made their red carpet debut at Glamour on the Grid – the very same event where the model debuted her romance with Kokkinakis back in 2023.

This year, Dal Sasso hit the red carpet in a breathtaking black corset gown with a cobalt blue skirt that twisted elegantly around her thighs.

McLean kept things classic in a plain black tux with racecar cuff links Dal Sasso showed off to her almost 70,000 Instagram followers.

When he’s not accompanying his new girlfriend to flashy events, McLean appears to enjoy a pretty normal life, sharing finance content and photos with his mates on Instagram.

Prior to dating McLean, Dal Sasso was in a relationship with Kokkinakis for almost two years.

They were long-distance for a significant part of that time, as Kokkinakis was regularly travelling to play in tennis tournaments all over the world.

They were last seen together in July 2024.

Rumours that the pair had split emerged last year and in January, Kokkinakis was photographed spending time with model Paige Henry.
