The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have met survivors of the Bondi Beach terror attack as they embark on the final day of their adventure Tour through Australia.

At the Bondi Surf Bathers’ Life Saving Club, Prince Harry and Meghan spoke to the public, as well as survivors and first responders who responded to the December 14 tragedy that killed 15 people.

The couple met Jessica Chapnik Khan, who protected her daughter from the shooting, and Elon Zizer, who was shot several times while also protecting his children.

The Bondi visit comes after Meghan was spotted walking around Bronte earlier this morning.

A video showed the Duchess dressed in sportswear and flanked by security looking at the scenery of Sydney’s beloved beach before getting into a darkened car.

The Sussexes’ busy final day in Sydney marks the end of their four-day whirlwind tour of the country.

This morning, Meghan and Harry will head to Sydney Harbor with team Invictus Australia to support their bid to bring back the Invictus Games in 2031.

The event was held in Sydney in 2018 during Prince Harry and Meghan’s first visit here.

Between the boat ride and the football, Meghan is expected to appear at a women-only retreat hosted by the Her Best Life podcast.

The event is being billed as a ‘girls’ weekend like no other’ and Meghan will speak at a conversation session before taking part in a dinner.

The host is Gemma O’Neill, Jackie O Henderson’s manager and co-founder of Besties, a company she built with Jackie.

Last weekend, event organizer O’Neill described Meghan as “so divine” after having a Zoom call with her ahead of the tour.

“It couldn’t have been more real,” O’Neill said.

“I just loved talking to her. She said, ‘let’s just have a real conversation, woman to woman, let’s just go for it.'”

There are only 300 tickets available and they are not sold out yet.

Tickets range from $2699, while the VIP experience costs $3199 and includes a group photo with the Duchess.

Meghan is being paid, but sources say it is a nominal fee.

In the evening, the couple visit Allianz Stadium to watch rugby team New South Wales Waratahs take on Moana Pasifika, later meeting the players in the dressing room.

Rugby Australia boss Phil Waugh said in a statement: “Harry loves his rugby and we look forward to hosting him and Meghan for Friday night’s match.

“The Australian public will remember Harry’s celebration when England lifted the Webb Ellis Trophy on these shores in 2003.

“And with the Rugby World Cup returning to Australia next year, we are delighted to welcome him back for a match featuring test players from Australia and the Pacific.”

The couple kicked off their tour in Melbourne on Tuesday with a visit to the Royal Children’s Hospital, which was opened in 1963 and in 2011 after extensive renovations by Queen Elizabeth II.

The site was also visited by Prince Harry’s parents, Charles and Diana, during their 1985 tour.

On Tuesday, Meghan visited a homeless shelter for women and met with women who have experienced domestic violence.

Their final event of the first day was at the Australian National Veterans’ Art Museum.

He attended a Movember charity event in Melbourne focusing on fatherhood and visited the Australian War Memorial, where he took part in a smoking ceremony, laid a wreath and viewed the Wall of Remembrance.

Although Meghan made no public appearances, it was later revealed that she spent part of the day filming a guest judge on MasterChef Australia.
