“Our son’s death was very preventable. It was an accident, but it was a preventable accident,” the mother of two began.
“I will always take full responsibility for that, because as a parent it is your job to protect your child.”
Her son Trigg Kiser, 3, who played a major role in supporting his mother TikTok and Instagram videos, was found unconscious in the family’s backyard pool in May last year. He died six days later.

According to police reports, Trigg fell into the pool when Emilie was not home.
Her husband Brady had been home with Trigg and their youngest son for two months when Trigg fell.
May is also Water Safety Awareness Month. The social media star emphasized that in the US, “drowning is the number one cause of death” for children aged one to four.
“And that’s an extremely difficult statistic to accept,” she said, holding back tears.
“I hope that if this ends up on your page, instead of making fun of the video or ignoring it… I hope that you will take at least one of the things I say and apply it,” she said.
“Please, please, install a pool fence. Make sure you have door alarms. Make sure if you have door alarms, all your batteries are updated,” she advised.
“Make sure you supervise your children near water.”
In Australia, pool fences are required by law, with different states having different standards and requirements.
The mother also encouraged parents to enroll their children in swimming lessons from an early age and undergo CPR training.
