Jules Neale opens up about Mother’s Day plans and talks about children after Lachie Neale split

Jules Neale navigates her new life as a single mother and preparing to celebrate her first Mother’s Day since the breakdown of her marriage and divorce Lachie Neale.

The 36-year-old moved back to her hometown in Perth Neale has remained in Brisbane and continues to play AFL for the Brisbane Lions, with their children sharing time between both parents.

Jules revealed that her children are her ‘absolute world’ and said this year the focus will be on her own mother.

“Mother’s Day looks a little different this year,” Jules said in an interview with the Herald Sun.

“But my children are my absolute world and literally the best thing that has ever happened to me.

“They make every day brighter and I don’t take it for granted.”

Jules and Lachie share two children, Piper, four, and Freddie, one.

Jules admitted that the real joy this year will be celebrating Mother’s Day with her mother, who has been her rock this year.

“She has been an incredible support to me and the children over the past few months,” she said.

“We are planning to have a big family lunch with my brothers, their partners and children, so it will be a lovely day together.”

It’s been a big few months for Jules, who has candidly shared the vulnerable side of her new life on social media.

Just a few days ago she shared a deeper insight into her healing journey when she revealed she had undergone hypnotherapy to help with “trauma”.

“Don’t mind my appearance, I just cried for an hour straight,” she said, before explaining: “…because I did hypnotherapy… and it was incredible.

“If someone is dealing with something emotionally, trauma or whatever, you would go to normal talk therapy [or] traditional talk therapy, maybe try hypnotherapy too.”

The mother of two continued, “I feel like that did a lot more for me in one session than the talk therapy did before. It goes a little deeper, I think. It was really incredible, so I just wanted to share that.”

Jules recently had a hit with the Brisbane Lions for a video shared online of Piper, who appeared scared as she took the field with Lachie for his 300th game.

The little girl was seen crying with her hands over her face, overwhelmed by the spectacle of a guard of honor later running through a banner with his teammates.

Lachie did his best to comfort her before finally handing her over to a staff member.

The video was captioned: “Our shy queen 😭🫶”.

But Jules, who remained in Perth with the couple’s one-year-old son Freddie, countered in the comments section: “She’s not shy. She’s scared and it’s not funny.”

The couple’s relationship ended in December after she publicly claimed she had been ‘betrayed’ in light of rumors surrounding the couple’s relationship with the woman. wedding.

So laugh confirmed the divorce while addressing the media in early January.

“I have failed my family and I apologize for my actions, which hurt those closest to me. I am deeply sorry,” he said.

Lachie added that he had to “accept” the consequences of his actions, but that he was focused on rebuilding trust with Neale as the well-being of their children remained their number one priority.
