Jules Neale opens up on ‘trauma’ days after Lachie’s marriage admission

Jules Neale has shared a vulnerable moment on social media, days after her estranged AFL player ex Lachie Nealemade one recognition about their marriage.

Go to her Instagram stories, the influencer, 36, shared a deeper insight into her healing journey when she revealed she had undergone hypnotherapy to help with “trauma.”

“Don’t mind my appearance, I just cried for an hour straight,” she said, before explaining: “…because I did hypnotherapy… and it was incredible.

“If someone is dealing with something emotionally, trauma or whatever, you would go to normal talk therapy [or] traditional talk therapy, maybe try hypnotherapy too.”

The mother of two continued, “I feel like that did a lot more for me in one session than the talk therapy did before. It goes a little deeper, I think. It was really incredible, so I just wanted to share that.”

While she didn’t go into detail about the “trauma” she faced, it’s undoubtedly been a tough year for the influencer. 

Her marriage to Lachie, 32, ended in December after she publicly claimed she had been ‘betrayed’ in light of rumors surrounding the couple’s relationship. wedding.

Within days of the statement, Jules further added to the speculation about the cause of the split when she commented on a now-deleted post on former girlfriend Tess Crosley’s Instagram page.

“Take this away you idiot, you’re embarrassing yourself,” Neale wrote beneath photos of her former best friend celebrating Lachie Neale’s Brisbane Lions AFL Grand Final last September.

Jules has since moved back to Perth with their children, Piper, four, and Freddie, one

On April 19, the Brisbane Lions player shared a behind-the-scenes look at what their parenting arrangement has been like since their split with The era.

”[It’s] Of course it’s hard not having the kids here, but I’m lucky that Jules, their mother, allows me to come and go from Perth,” he said.

“I get Piper here quite a bit. I’m fortunate that Jules has been very flexible with that, and I can go back to Perth whenever I want with the club’s blessing.

“If I have to miss a day of training or whatever, they are happy for that to happen. I’ve been doing pretty well with that so far.”

In a few months, the football star will decide which club he will play for in 2027, amid his new family dynamics.

“For me, if it works well and everyone is happy – and the kids are the No. 1 priority – then we think we can make it work here,” he said of the club he previously co-captained.

In December 2025, Jules set off a chain of events when she wrote in a social media post: “I want to make it very clear that I am not ‘working through’ anything.

“I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way. All I can do now is heal and do what is best for my children.”

The post led to Lachie stepping down from his position as co-captain of the Lions in January.
