Love is in the air for the Matildas as they celebrate their second wedding in just about as many days.
Midfielder Katrina Gorry has wed her long-time partner Clara Markstedt, days after her teammate Ellie Carpenter tied the knot with her new wife, Daniëlle van de Donk.
Gorry and Markstedt said “I do” in a stunning Hamilton Islands ceremony, reports New Idea.

The pair opted for a casual beach wedding, with the pair exchanging their views in front of about 70 guests – including Gorry’s Matildas teammates Charli Grant and Michelle Heyman – before they all danced the night away
“We just wanted people to relax, have fun, and have a good time,” Markstedt told the outlet.
Gorry’s three-year-old daughter Harper had an important role as the flower girl, with the couple’s one-year-old son Koby nearby.

“We wanted Koby to be able to walk next to her, but he’s a little late!” Markstedt added.
The couple also spoke about dress shopping together ahead of the big day, with Gorry wearing a two-piece set with a cropped blouse that accentuated her toned midriff paired with an A-Line skirt.
Markstedt chose a floral one-sleeved gown with a slit at the front and a similar A-Line skirt. Both dresses were from Melbourne brand Anna Campbell.

The couple got engaged in June 2023 after first meeting in 2021, when Gorry joined Swedish club Vittsjö GIK, where Markstedt played as a striker.
With Markstedt assigned to show foreigners around and help them get settled in, the pair struck up a friendship before eventually falling in love.
Gorry’s nuptials come on the heels of her teammate Ellie Carpenter, who married her partner Daniëlle van de Donk.

The Matildas star has said “I do” to Dutch football star Daniëlle van de Donk, 33, sharing two stunning photos of the French ceremony to Instagram.
Carpenter, 25, simply captioned the pictures, “I choose you. I will always choose you.”
Both brides wore traditional white gowns designed by Pronovias and Mia Atelier.
Carpenter wore a strapless dress with a mermaid-style skirt, paired with a long white veil and her hair tied up in a messy bun.
Meanwhile van de Donk wore a princess-style gown with lace detailing and her hair in loose waves.
