The historic state dinner hosted in President Trump’s honor King Charles and Queen Camilla is underway at the White House.
This dinner is an important part of the Four-day state visit to the United Stateswhich started yesterday with an inspection of the White House’s famous beehive.
Getting a place at the table for the night of nights was no mean feat, with a who’s who from the entertainment, sports and business worlds vying for one of the 120 seats and a chance to collaborate with British royalty.

King Charles and Queen Camilla
Of course, at the top of the list were the guests of honor, King Charles III, who is visiting the US for the first time as monarch with his wife, Queen Camilla.
President Trump has reportedly been keen to host a state dinner for the monarch since he attended a historic second state visit to Britain in September 2025, where he was guest of honor at a state banquet at Windsor Castle.

Tim Cook
Apple’s outgoing CEO has a close relationship with President Trump, as evidenced by the US president’s post on Truth Social when Cook revealed he would be leaving his position earlier this month.
Cook was among the attendees at the state banquet held in honor of President Trump and the First Lady at Windsor Castle last year, so it made sense that he would also be at the White House today.

Jeff Bezos
Amazon chief Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sanchez Bezos were always going to be there, as Amazon paid $55 million in a licensing deal to secure the rights to the Melania Trump documentary. Melania.
Bezos has reportedly overcome previous doubts about the possibility of a second Trump presidency, even issuing congratulations on his 2024 election victory and donating $1.4 million for his inauguration.
Ralph Lauren
Billionaire fashion designer Ralph Lauren was another who was lucky enough to score an invite.
Lauren, 86, who started his eponymous fashion label in 1967 before growing it into a multi-billion dollar lifestyle brand, was the designer of choice when First Lady Melania Trump attended an event at the White House with the royals earlier in the day.
The First Lady has been a long-time fan of the American fashion house and chose a powder blue Ralph Lauren ensemble for President Donald Trump’s inauguration in 2017.

Robert Kraft
Among the guests was also the American businessman and owner of the New England Patriots NFL team.
Kraft and Trump are said to date back at least 20 years and are reportedly close friends, as they may have had a connection to real estate development, which contributed to Kraft’s status as a multi-billionaire.
Rory McIlroy
Northern Irish professional golfer Rory McIlroy is also among the guests.
He was also invited to the state banquet in honor of President Trump and the First Lady at Windsor Castle last year.
McIlroy and Trump have bonded over their love of golf, with the two even playing a round of golf in early 2025. The president has since described McIlroy as a “legend” following his 2026 Masters victory.
Trump’s children
As expected, Trump’s children are among the guests, while Ivanka Trump took to her Instagram Stories to show off her outfit ahead of the festivities.

Tiffany Trump is also believed to be present. It will be the second time she has worked with the King and Queen, after making a surprise appearance at the royal banquet in Windsor.
On the occasion, she was even included in the royal procession to St George’s Hall, where she was accompanied by Apple’s Tim Cook, while her husband Michael Boulos was given the honor of escorting the Princess of Wales to the event.
Eric Trump and his wife Lara were also expected to attend.

Trump administration
Several members of the Trump administration are also in attendance, including Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
Some key Republicans and Trump supporters also scored invites, including House Speaker Mike Johnson and Sen. Lindsey Graham.
There was also Trump’s appointment of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Caine.

Fox News hosts
Fox News hosts were also on the guest list, including Jesse Watters, Laura Ingraham, Bret Baier and Greg Gutfeld.
No attention to detail was spared during dinner in the historic East Room.
