It is clear that the York sisters would not attend the upcoming Easter church service with King Charles and the rest of the royal family for the same reason.
Although they have now been invited to the Berkshire racing festival, which will be held from June 16 to 20 this year, it has not yet been confirmed whether Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will join the Royal Ascot carriage parade.
The sisters have long been fixtures at Royal Ascot, along with senior members of the royal family.
When the couple attends, the princesses are expected to be accompanied by their husbands, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Jack Brooksbank, as they have done in previous years.

It comes just over a month after their father Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office on February 19, amid allegations, he shared confidential documents with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein during his time as British trade envoy.
Andrew66, was released under investigation and denies any wrongdoing.
Their mother came under scrutiny after her name appeared in the Epstein files recently released by the US Department of Justice.
According to the documents, their mother Sarah Ferguson took Beatrice and Eugenie to visit Epstein in the US five days after he was released from prison for child abuse.
They were 19 and 20 years old at the time.
Epstein was under house arrest after serving 12 months in a Florida prison for soliciting a minor into prostitution.
Ferguson’s own email exchanges with Epstein, in which he referred to Epstein as her “supreme friend,” were also published in the release.

They are said to have become distraught over the claims against their parents.
The inclusion of their names in the cache of documents has led to suggestions that they would be banned from meetings with the royal family.
However, the king has previously expressed his support for his nieces.
According to British media, they are expected to be involved in other celebrations in the future, which now include Royal Ascot in June.
