A light aircraft has crashed into an aircraft hangar in South Australia, just north of Adelaide.
Police were called to an area near Kings Road in Parafield after reports the small plane had collided with the hangar as the plane attempted to land at the airport.
South Australia Police said the immediate area has been evacuated while emergency services deal with the incident.
“Avoid the area if possible,” a spokesperson said.
Emergency services have not confirmed how many people were on board the plane and in the hangar.
Parafield is located approximately 15 to 18 kilometers north of Adelaide’s CBD.
It is the second crash of a light aircraft at Parafield in several months.
The pilot and sole occupant emerged from the crash uninjured.
The aircraft caught fire on impact and the flames spread to nearby grass.
