A 41-year-old man has been charged after he was filmed kicking, dragging and even appearing to hurl a dog in Queensland.
The Broadbeach Waters man was charged with animal cruelty following an alleged incident at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast on April 30.
It is alleged that the man abused a dog while walking on Hooker Boulevard around 9:15 am.

He is due to appear at Southport Magistrates Court on May 18.
The dog has been handed over to the RSPCA, police said.

The organization claimed in a Facebook post that it was a dog "kicked, pulled, dragged and at one point lifted and swung before being kicked again".
"Multiple videos capture the incident, with the dog actively resisting and trying to get away." the message continued.
