Man dies after shark attack in Far North Queensland

The Queensland Ambulance Service initially told nine.com.au that a man in his 30s was assessed at the Hull River Heads Boat Ramp following a reported shark attack at 12.03pm.

Queensland Police released a statement shortly after confirming the man, 39, had died from his injuries.

A report will be prepared for the coroner
