Count Nikolai and Thoustrup have been in Australia since early November, returning once again after spending several months here late last year.

During an interview with 9honey in September 2023, Nikolai spoke about his hopes to visit Tasmania on the recommendation of his aunt, Queen Mary.

“We want to visit Uluru, Melbourne and perhaps Tasmania, and then all of the east coast,” he said.

When asked about his reason for wanting to visit Tasmania he said: “Because I have family there, or relatives, it would be nice to come and visit”.

“I haven’t planned anything yet but I definitely hope to visit them, definitely”.

It’s great he has finally ticked Tasmania off his Aussie travel to-do list.
