Meghan Markle and Prince Harry share sweet Saturday morning cartoon tradition with kids Archie and Lilibet

Meghan Markle has shared the sweet family ritual she shares with her children each week.

The Duchess of Sussex is mum to Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, whom she shares with husband, Prince Harry.

Speaking with the Godmothers Substack for their March 7 newsletter, she shared that spending Saturday mornings in bed watching cartoons with her family is one of her favourite moments of the week.

“In the UK, they call it a ‘duvet day,’ and I’ve always found that sweet,” she said.

“Our little family, snuggled up for an easy family morning followed by pancakes and bacon. The dream.”

Meghan seems to spend plenty of quality time with her two kids, explaining that they’ve also begun to take an interest in her personal hobbies.

“I love flower arranging. It’s not something I grew up doing, but arranging flowers is one of those simple pleasures that I can get lost in,” she began.

“[It] sparks my creativity, allows me tangibly to get my hands in something that adds beauty, and connects me to nature.

Amid the madness of parenting, Meghan has also found the time to launch several new ventures.

The first season of her Netflix show With Love, Meghan premiered just last week, and she also announced her new brand As Ever.

More recently, she also announced details of a brand new podcast, two years after the end of her previous podcast, Archetypes.

Ahead of the launch of As Ever, she’s chatting to other entrepreneurs in Confessions of a Female Founder.

“I’ve been having candid conversations with amazing women who have turned dreams into realities, and scaled small ideas into massively successful businesses,” Meghan wrote on Instagram.

“They’re opening up, sharing their tips, tricks (and tumbles), and letting me pick their brains as I build out my own business, As Ever.

“It has been absolutely eye-opening, inspiring…and fun! (Because what’s the point if we can’t have some fun on this wild adventure?)”
