Meghan doesn’t predict US President Donald Trump’s emerging global tariffs will impact her lifestyle brand.
The Duchess of Sussex launched the first collection from her As Ever lifestyle brand on the same day the White House announced Trump would impose a 10 per cent baseline tariff on all countries seeking to import goods to the US.
The 43-year-old’s product line of preserves, teas, honey, cookie mix and flower sprinkles launched as the rest of the world reeled from the news.

Speaking with Fortune, the former Suits star revealed she doesn’t anticipate As Ever being impacted by the tariffs.
“At the moment, all of our products are currently made in the US,” she told the outlet.
“But as we look at the larger context of how this is going to affect the consumer day to day, I’m very grateful that in part of the conception of this brand, I wanted to create products that look more prestige, but are more accessible and affordable.

“I think during any time of recession, people still want to find creature comforts, items that can bring them joy.”
Meghan’s As Ever product line sold out in under an hour after going on sale on Wednesday morning last week in the US (Thursday AEDT).
Commenting on the sellout, Meghan said, “Our shelves may be empty, but my heart is full!”

The release of her nine artisanal products was not without its bumps in the road, as the Duchess of Sussex was forced to apologise to fans for a mistake.
Some unlucky customers were disappointed when they purchased Wildflower Honey with Honeycomb for £21.60 ($45.91), which was already sold out.
Some customers who thought they’d successfully purchased the honey were eventually told their transactions had gone through despite the lack of stock.

Meghan addressed the glitch in a message sent to affected customers and offered an apology.
“Dear friend,” the message began, “My goodness, what a whirlwind this week has been! Thank you for the support. It really means so much to me.
“I was so sorry to hear about what happened with your order, and that due to overselling we were not able to get you the Limited-Edition Honey. Please know that the team worked very hard in every department, and felt just as sad when we learned what had happened.
