A new waxwork of the Princess of Wales has been unveiled in London, modelled off two of the royal’s most iconic outings.
Madame Tussauds showed off the figure, which has now joined waxworks of King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Prince of Wales inside a recreated Throne Room at the popular tourist attraction.
The model of Kate is dressed in a replica Jenny Packham gown, silver Gianvito Rossi Rania 105 heels, and replicas of the Lover’s Knot tiara and Greville diamond chandelier earrings.

The tiara was taken from the Madame Tussauds London archives and was previously worn by the figure of Diana, Princess of Wales, in the 1980s.
The tiara has become Kate’s most worn piece since marrying into the royal family in 2011.
The latest figure is not her first in the world-famous museum. Kate was first immortalised in wax in April 2012, a year after her wedding to Prince William.

Her updated model is decorated with replicas of the Royal Victorian Order blue sash and Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II.
The chosen look was taken from the royal’s appearance at the Diplomatic Corps reception in December 2023, held inside Buckingham Palace.
Months earlier, in June 2023, Kate wore the same gown, tiara and earrings to attend the evening wedding reception of Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa.

The pink sequined ‘Georgia’ Jenny Packham gown has also been worn by Queen Mary of Denmark, twice.
The first was when the Australian-born royal was photographed for her 50th birthday inside Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg in February, 2022.
More recently, Queen Mary wore the gown to a banquet at Christiansborg Palace in February, 2025, where she and King Frederik were captured dancing to the delight of guests.

Steve Blackburn of Madame Tussauds London said of the new waxwork: “Kate, majestically crafted by our talented studio team, has been sculpted to ensure her resemblance is fit for a future queen, alongside her dashing husband”.
Prince William’s figure has also been updated and now wears a black tuxedo by Ede and Ravenscroft, a brand that has worked with the royal family for generations.
While the Prince and Princess of Wales stand side by side the figures of King Charles and Queen Camilla, the waxworks of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are absent.

Prince Harry and Meghan once were included alongside the other royals in 2022 to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, with the duke remaining there in 2023 for the King’s coronation.
Meghan, however, was relocated to the Hollywood section.
They were originally moved in 2020, soon after announcing their intention to leave the royal family for the US.

In June, 2019, Madame Tussauds Sydney welcomed wax figures of Prince Harry and Meghan months after they toured Australia in October, 2018.
They took pride of place inside the museum’s Royal Academy exhibit.
