At least one man has died and four others are in serious condition after an alleged to shoot in Sydney‘s southwest.
All five men were taken to two separate hospitals with life-threatening injuries.
Police were called to Liverpool Hospital after the first two men, both believed to be in their 20s, showed multiple wounds at around 8.30pm.
“One of the men underwent treatment but died a short time later,” NSW Police said.
He has yet to be formally identified.
The other man was in stable condition in hospital.
About 10 minutes later, two men reported to Fairfield Hospital in critical condition and were treated, police said.
Just over an hour later, at 9:50 p.m., the fifth man, believed to be a 19-year-old, appeared at Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition and was treated for injuries.
Police have set up a crime scene at a home in Canley Heights.
Officers attached to the Fairfield City Police Area Command – with the assistance of the State Crime Command’s homicide unit – are investigating.
