Prince Julian’s birthday comes just weeks after Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip welcomed their fourth child, Princess Ines.

Princess Ines is the first daughter for the couple, who are parents to Prince Alexander, eight, Prince Gabriel, seven, and Julian, four.

Sharing two new photos of the baby on Instagram, they said: “It turned out to be a perfect little quartet”.

“Big and warm thanks for all the nice congratulations to our little Ines.”

In accordance with King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden’s decision of October 7 2019, regarding changes in The Royal House, Princess Ines is a member of the Royal Family but not of The Royal House.

Changing the status of his grandchildren, the monarch removed their “Royal Highness” titles while still allowing them to retain their titles of Duke and Duchess.

Princess Ines is now eighth-in-line to the Swedish throne and the ninth grandchild of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia.
