Princess Beatrice appears to have shared a new photo of daughter Athena in a social media post promoting her new patronage with medical research charity Borne.
Beatrice, 36, has appeared in a series of photos alongside friend Alice Naylor-Leyland with whom the royal has collaborated to produce the HRH Princess Beatrice Baby Shower Collection.
Upon closer look at the carousel, blue and pink wicker frames are on display. Each contain the photo of a baby, thought to be Athena who is now two months old.

The image shows Athena swaddled in a pink blanket and appears to be similar to the official photo that was released of the baby born on January 22.
On display are items from the collection including tableware and decorations, the proceeds of which will go to Borne, a medical research charity focusing on premature birth.

Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi shared the news of their daughter’s early arrival via Buckingham Palace and on social media.
“Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi. We welcomed Baby Athena into our lives last week. She is tiny and absolutely perfect,” the post read alongside the photo.
“We are all (including Wolfie and Sienna) already completely besotted with her.Our hearts are overflowing with love for you, baby Athena,” Mapelli Mozzi continued.
“A massive thank you from my wife and I goes out to all the wonderful staff at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital for their exceptional care and support during this incredibly special time.”
A more recent photo of Athena was shared this month as part of Beatrice’s essay on her daughter’s dramatic arrival for British Vogue.
”So much pride for my beautiful wife, who has bravely shared our story of Athena’s early arrival,” Mapelli Mozzi wrote.
“Also for her support and patronage for the incredible organisation @bornecharity, which provided us with invaluable help during that challenging time,” he added.

Princess Beatrice shared her birth experience with British Vogue in an article that was published on March 23. She described the fear they felt when they were told their daughter wouldn’t be born at full term.
She said it was after “routine scans” that they were told their daughter would require “close monitoring” and they “needed to prepare for an early arrival”.
The royal admitted the process was “humbling” and while the human body is remarkable, there’s still a lot that we don’t know.

She went on to describe “months of sheer worry” they both endured following the news.
“I lay awake in the weeks leading up to birth, trying to monitor each movement of the baby in my tummy and asking myself a thousand times, ‘What if this happens, or what if that happens?'”
Thankfully, Athena made her arrival into the world a few weeks early, but healthy.
Beatrice stated that her recent pregnancy experience and her mother’s battle with breast and skin cancer in 2024 has inspired her to advocate for improved medical services for women.

She said she plans to help in “facilitating the necessary research into the health challenges that women face daily”.
Beatrice said she turned to the team at the hospital where Athena was born, the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital where Professor Mark Johnson leads operations. He also founded Borne the charity Beatrice is now a patron of.
