Sweden’s royal family has come together to celebrate the baptism of its youngest member, Princess Ines, on a day packed with meaning for her parents.
The baby was christened at Drottningholm Palace Chapel in Stockholm, where her parents married 10 years ago.
The baptism took place on the anniversary of the royal wedding, when Prince Carl Philip married Sofia Hellqvist, now Princess Sofia, on June 13 2015.

The church was decorated with the same type of flowers used at the royal wedding in 2015, featuring peach, cream and pink roses.
Princess Sofia also wore the same diamond earrings she had on when she married Prince Carl Philip.
For her daughter’s baptism, Sofia chose a yellow dress by Lars Wallin with a matching headband.

Princess Ines is eighth-in-line to the Swedish throne and the ninth grandchild for King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, who were at the ceremony on Friday.
She is the fourth child for Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, who also have three sons: Prince Alexander, born in 2016, Prince Gabriel, born in 2017, and Prince Julian, born in 2021.

Princess Madeleine, who celebrated her 43rd birthday last week, wore a purple skirt suit by Safiyaa.
Following the ceremony, King Carl Gustaf ceremonially bestowed his granddaughter with the Order of the Seraphim, Sweden’s highest order of chivalry, created in 1748.
Princess Ines was then laid in a cradle that once belonged to King Charles XV, who ruled Sweden between 1859 to 1872, and the official photos were taken ahead of a reception at the palace.
As the baptism day was also Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia’s wedding anniversary, a special toast was made to the royal couple.
They also shared a highlights reel of special moment from their wedding, to their joint social media account.
