Purported Jeffrey Epstein suicide note being kept hidden by court: report

Fellow Metropolitan Correctional Center inmate Nicholas Tartaglione said he found the note in the pages of a graphic novel.

The piece of yellow paper torn from a writing pad read: “What do you want me to do, burst into tears? Time to say goodbye.”

Weeks earlier, Epstein had denied a previous suicide attempt and told prison staff that the marks on his neck were from Tartaglione attacking him.

Epstein was transferred by himself to another cell, where he was found dead.

Tartaglione reportedly told his lawyer about the note after Epstein’s death.

That attorney later reportedly filed it at a federal courthouse north of New York City.

The New York Times reports that the note is in the hands of the court and has filed a request for its release.

It was not included in the Epstein files released so far and has not been mentioned in formal investigations into his death.

Epstein’s suicide has been the subject of much conjecture and conjecture.

Tartaglione, a former police officer, is serving four life sentences after being convicted of murdering four people.

He has repeatedly denied harming Epstein.

He has been cleared of any involvement in Epstein’s death.

The Metropolitan Correctional Center closed two years later.

Epstein had been indicted at the time of his death on charges of sex trafficking of minors.

The Trump administration has come under fire after releasing only a fraction of the files related to the Justice Department’s investigation into Epstein.
