Queen Mary took her foundation’s anti-bullying message to the schools of Paris on Tuesday.
The Australian-born royal, who is in France for a three-day state visit, was joined by French first lady Brigitte Macron for the outing at Ecole Maternelle Dussoubs.
Mary, a mother-of-four herself, showed her affinity with the kids instantly and was seen crouching down to speak with students that greeted her on arrival.

Once inside, the Danish monarch and first lady stood at the front of the class chatting to students, who were aged between three and six.
Queen Mary and Macron were seen handing out small purple soft toys to the children and watched on as the kids read a sheet of paper the teacher was holding.
Students and teachers at the school in Paris’s 2nd arrondissement have recently become part of The Mary Foundation’s Free of Bullying program, with the royal seeing the French experience of her Danish initiative.

The two women were both suited up for the school visit, having made their way over after they took part in the official opening of France-Denmark economic forum at Palais Brongniart.
King Frederik and French President Emmanuel Macron both gave speeches during the official opening before continuing with duties together, while their wives made their way to the school.
Queen Mary was later reunited with her husband at Palais Brongniart, where they held short meet and greets with a number of Danish and French companies across defence, health and climate.

They then went their separate ways again, with Queen Mary visiting one of the most iconic cultural institutions in Paris – Grand Palais.
Her Majesty got to see the recent renovations the Palais has undergone, before it plays host to the exhibition Tapisseries Royales in the coming months.
The exhibition presents modern Danish contributions to the art of tapestry before they become part of the permanent exhibition at Koldinghus.

After a banquet dinner on Monday night at Élysée Palace, King Frederik and Queen Mary will host a reciprocal dinner at Le Grand Hôtel, with their delegation along with selected French and Danish guests.
The King and Queen will finish their visit on Wednesday with a number of engagements, ending with a visit to Notre Dame cathedral.
