Sophie Delezio and Joseph Salerno wedding, couple tie the knot in the Hunter Valley

Congratulations are in order for Sophie Delezio and Joseph Salerno, who are officially married! 

The childhood sweethearts tied the knot in the Hunter Valley over the weekend with their friends and family there for the celebrations. 

Some pictures from their special day have been reposted by the 24-year-old on her Instagram story, sharing a glimpse into the stunning wedding. 

The couple were married at Anambah House on Saturday and Delezio looked stunning in a classic ball gown style dress with beaded detailing all over the top.

Her bridesmaids complimented the dress in champagne-coloured frocks in different styles, all showing off their individual personalities. 

Meanwhile Salerno opted for a smart brown suit, paired with matching boots.

Once they were officially husband and wife it looked like the fun began, with one friend of the couple sharing a behind-the-scenes video of the couple and their bridal party popping champagne and celebrating during their photos. 

In another snap Delezio’s bridesmaids helped with her long train as they navigated the grassy grounds of the wedding venue.

Delezio and Salerno welcomed their first child together, a son named Frankie in September 2024.

Their original wedding plans were put on hold after announcing they were pregnant and it seems like it was worth the wait.

She recently shared that she was going to take a break from social media, after struggling with balancing work and life.

“Being a creator and a new mum means there’s no such thing as maternity leave,” she wrote.

“There’s no pause button to soak in the joy of newborn life. It’s a job where you commit to sharing your world, the highs, the lows while juggling everything else in between.”

While she said she’s so grateful to have this career, she knows she needs to step back and reassess how it’s going to look moving forward.

“With my wedding coming up, there are so many beautiful moments ahead that I can’t wait to share. But for now, my focus is on my family. These are moments I’ll never get back, and I want to cherish every single one,” she continued.

Salerno proposed in 2023 at their home in Sydney, after they had marked several big milestones like spending 10 months travelling together.

He presented her with a stunning three-stone ring, representing their past, present and future together.
