The fitness app creator and influencer started the clip with a short video of herself before falling pregnant again flashing forward to 41 weeks pregnant.
She went through clips of her postpartum journey so far, including snaps in the hospital wearing an adult nappy and at home, still with her swollen stomach on display.
“The female body is phenomenal. The miracle of carrying and birthing a human being is wild – and the bodies response to it all is just so incredible,” she started the caption.

“No two pregnancies are the same. No two births are the same and no two postpartum journeys are the same. Most importantly, no two women are the same. So the last thing I want is this post to trigger any comparison.
“And my apologies if it does. I’m simply sharing it because I’m blown away with how my body has done what it has done.”

Steph admitted that some days she feels weak, although looking at her body is a reminder of how far she’s come. (Instagram/@stephclairesmith)
She explained that she included the first clip to acknowledge where she was prior to falling pregnant again and stressed that while fitness has always been a big part of her life, genetics also play a big part in her body.
“I’ll be seeing my women’s health physio soon to check on my pelvic floor. I can already feel that there’s probably more work to do this time around compared to last. But I’m excited to start that journey and ease into a bit of a routine again,” she wrote.
She admitted that she feels physically “weak” some days, then remembers what her body has been through, which is a pretty good example of strength.

“Be kind to yourself throughout your pregnancy journey,” she continued.
“Your body is doing SO much. Marvel at what it can do. Particularly postpartum. Be gentle. And appreciate all that is happening inside, slowly pulling all your bits back into place.”
She stressed that changes to your body that stick around are the proof of what your body did.
“F–k bounce back… bounce forward into a new you instead,” the post finished.
