Teenager fighting for life after Ipswich stabbing, house fire west of Brisbane

A teenager fights for life after his existence stabbed during a reported neighborhood dispute west of Brisbane who also saw a house go up in flames.
Police said an altercation occurred between a group of people who knew each other on Cascade Street in Raceview, Ipswichthis afternoon.

A boy in his teens was stabbed during the attack, as was a woman in her 50s.

A teenager suffered critical injuries to his abdomen and was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital where he is in a life-threatening condition.

A woman in her 50s also suffered stab wounds to her chest and hands, but her condition is less serious. She was taken to Mater Hospital in a stable condition.

The perpetrator, a man, also set fire to a house in the street, which the fire brigade was able to bring under control.

He was arrested and assisted the police.
