“I believe she married her brother, which is completely illegal,” Trump said.

“Although they’re actually a nice couple, it’s a bit on the illegal side.”

Trump then pretended to speak as a married couple.

“‘Honey, I love you very much.’ “Good night, brother. Let’s go to bed,” he said.

Omar has denied the rumor that she was marrying her brother since it circulated online in 2016.

The rumors seemed to accuse Omar’s then-husband of being related to her, which was not true.

She didn’t mince her words when responding to Trump’s comments today.

“This unhinged tirade would incite outrage if it wasn’t coming from a criminal who has 34 felony convictions, is held responsible for rape, and is accused of being a pedophile,” she wrote on X.

“I still don’t understand how anyone would want to humiliate themselves like that, but here we are.

“(Besides), the party for the protection of pedophiles should find new material to support their distraction.”

Omar has represented Minneapolis in Congress since 2019.

As one of the most progressive politicians in Washington, she has often been the focus of Trump’s ire.

“She comes here from Somalia and tells us how to run the United States of America,” he said.

“She says, ‘the Constitution gives me certain rights and I demand that I be given those rights’.”

‘Go away. What a fake.’

Omar was born in Somalia before moving to a refugee camp in Kenya as a child.

They arrived in the US in 1995, when she was twelve or thirteen. Five years later she became an American citizen.

When Omar was reportedly attacked at an event in January, Trump said she likely organized it herself.

Omar was sprayed with a smelly brown substance while speaking in Minneapolis.

“She probably got herself sprayed, knowing her,” Trump said the next day.

In the same speech, Trump said it was “treasonous” to suggest the US would not win the war with Iran.

“We’re getting the radical left to say, ‘We’re not winning, we’re not winning.’ They no longer have soldiers. It’s unbelievable,” the president said.

“It’s actually, it’s actually, I believe it’s treacherous, okay. You want to know the truth – it’s treacherous.’
