US blockade of Strait of Hormuz begins; Trump’s fight with Pope continues; Iran warns that retaliation will come

A DoorDash driver made a quick drop off at an unconventional address this morning and got a $100 tip from President Donald Trump.

Sharon Simmons, an Arkansas woman, dropped off an order at the president’s favorite McDonald’s, which the White House said was distributed to staff.

The photo was intended to celebrate Trump’s “no tax on tips” policy, which just celebrated its first anniversary.

“Now No Tax on Tips has taken things to the next level, allowing me to keep more of the tips I earn and earn,” Sharon said in a DoorDash statement.

“Today we celebrate the advocacy of thousands of Dashers from across the country who fought to ensure our inclusion in this policy.”

Outside the White House, Simmons spoke to CNN, praising Trump’s policies but acknowledging that higher fuel prices hit hard.

“It’s clear that gas prices are affecting all of us. It’s not just us, it’s everyone,” she said.
