The American-Australian woman who alleged she was sexually trafficked to Britain’s Prince Andrew and others by the financier Jeffrey Epstein has claimed she has just days to live in a post on Instagram.
Virginia Giuffre posted a photo from what appears to be a hospital bed saying she was in renal failure as a result of injuries after a collision with a bus.
Giuffre, 41, said she was “ready to go”.

A representative for Giuffre confirmed to the BBC that Giuffre “has been in a serious accident”.
“Virginia has been in a serious accident and is receiving medical care in the hospital. She greatly appreciates the support and well wishes people are sending,” Dini von Mueffing said.
Posting the photo on Sunday evening, Giuffre wrote: “This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won’t bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can.
“I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology.
“I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes.”
It’s unclear when or where the crash occurred. 9Honey has contacted Giuffre’s representative and police for comment.

In February 2022, Prince Andrew agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by Giuffre and was ordered by a New York court to pay in excess of $20 million.
The Duke of York has always strenuously denied the allegations.
Under the terms of the settlement, Prince Andrew said that he would make a “substantial donation” to Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights. It contained no admission of liability and no apology.
