AS acquires the social media platform Post United

With the addition of Post United, Post United Fem, and El After de Post United—which collectively have over 14 million followers across their various social media platforms—PRISA Media will lead the largest community of sports content followers among Spanish media outlets.

AS, the sports newspaper of the PRISA Group, has acquired the sports social media platform Post United, thereby accelerating its digital transformation plan and its outreach to younger audiences, as announced by Pilar Gil, CEO of PRISA Media, during the presentation of the group’s strategic plan just a few weeks ago. This integration will create the largest community of sports content fans among all Spanish media companies.

Post United combines news, entertainment, analysis, and viral content centered on soccer through a community of highly prominent content creators. It has a presence on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and X, and across all these networks, it boasts more than 14 million followers; in January alone, its ecosystem surpassed 1 billion views, establishing itself as the sports platform with the highest engagement in Spain. AS, for its part, has more than 22 million followers across its social media profiles.
