The Prince And Princess of Wales and them children have teamed up with Robert Irwin for a special task.
The Wales family named Australia Zoo’s new eastern gray kangaroo joey, the news coming days after reports claimed the Irwins had ‘rejected’ Prince Harry and Meghan during their tour of Australia.

“[Cwtch] is the absolutely perfect name for a joey-kangaroo because at this age they love to cuddle and spend most of their time in that pouch with their mother,” he said.

Irwin gave special thanks Prince George, Princess Charlotte And Prince Louis for coming up with the name.

The wildlife warrior said he invited the royal family to help name the joey in a bid to raise awareness of global conservation efforts.
“Thank you for your support in our conservation efforts. It is so important that we preserve all our animals, including the icons and the kangaroos,” he continued.
“These guys play a very important role in the Australian bush, and out there in the ecosystem they are just crucial.

“With all the animals we support and all the conservation efforts we undertake around the world, it’s about making sure we give back to wildlife and the wild places they live.”
Prince William is a well-known advocate for conservation through the Earthshot Prize, an initiative he created to help find solutions to environmental challenges.
Irwin has previously worked with William on environmentally focused projects, with Irwin serving as an ambassador for William’s Earthshot Prize.
The royals’ latest project with Irwin comes weeks after a report revealed that the Irwin family ‘politely declined’ an invitation to meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during their trip Down Under.
New idea claimed Robert was the one who ‘politely passed over’ the meeting with Prince Harry and Meghan because he didn’t want to ‘upset’ his friend William.
“They had no ill will towards the Sussexes, but ultimately they are all staunch monarchists and fiercely loyal to The Firm,” a source told the newspaper.

The magazine claimed that Meghan wanted to meet the Irwins as a chance to connect with the family, and “inform them about possible collaboration, or even involve her children in upcoming Wildlife Warrior missions one day.”
Neither the Irwins nor the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have publicly discussed the claims.
