Girl, three, killed after being struck by ute in south-east Queensland

A three-year-old girl has been killed after being struck by a ute in the south-east Queensland.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a Nissan Navara business struck the toddler as he turned right onto a street in Caboolture, Moreton Bay, about 6.45pm yesterday.

The child suffered serious injuries and died on the spot.

It is understood the child was walking with her family when she was struck

Two women, aged between 20 and 40, were taken to hospital due to emotional problems.

A male toddler was also taken to hospital in stable condition

The driver of the Nissan, a 49-year-old woman, remained at the scene and assisted police with the investigation.

Anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident is asked to contact police
