The upcoming release from a royal expert has detailed the moment Princess of Wales would have reached her “limit” with brother-in-law Prince Harry.
In a fragmentKate! The courage, grace and strength of the woman who will become queen released to American weeklyclaimed author Christopher Andersen that Kate was “disappointed” by Harry’s bomb BBC tell everything by 2025.
“The damage had already been done: doubts had been cast about the king’s chances of full recovery,” Andersen wrote.

During the interview in question, Prince Harry discussed at length the ongoing division within the royal family, revealing that he ‘didn’t know how much longer’ [his] father had”, after his 2024 diagnosis with an unspecified form of cancer.
According to the clip, these comments made Kate “more disappointed than angry.”
But Prince William, on the other hand, was reportedly “apolectic” with rage, according to the testimony of a royal courtier from Andersen’s book.
‘But William, who had already slammed the door on his brother because of what Harry had written Savewas, in the words of one courtier, “apolectic with rage,” Andersen writes.

“Now it was time to nail the door shut once and for all, and for the first time Kate, who had worked harder than anyone to mend the rift between the brothers, willingly gave her husband a hammer.”
A Sandringham One staffer revealed that while she is “the sweetest, most loving person you could ever know,” even she “has her limits.”
Speaking to US Weekly about the clip, Christopher Andersen shared his thoughts on why this may have been the final straw for Kate.
‘I think Kate’s relationship with her father-in-law is over shared fight against cancer really made her much more sensitive to King Charles’ feelings,” he explained.

‘She knows better than anyone that it is terribly demoralizing when someone says publicly that you are on the brink of death.’
The Princess of Wales announced her own cancer diagnosis in 2024, just a month later King Charles went outside with his.
Andersen claims that Harry’s comments from the interview “changed things” for Kate, as she had previously made attempts to bridge the widening rift between the brothers.
“I’m sure Kate also felt stung by that comment, as she finds herself in a very similar situation to that of the king,” Andersen added.
