Supermarket shoppers are in a frenzy to get their hands on Woolworths’ Fissler cookware range, which is out of stock in some stores.
A similar situation is happening at Coles, where shoppers have just two weeks to complete their KitchenAid collections.
Suffice it to say, there’s chaos in the supermarket aisles as the two major supermarkets battle for customer loyalty with overlapping cookware promotions, with inventory levels adding to the chaos.

For Woolies and Coles shoppers looking to get their hands on their chosen pan range, there’s nothing more annoying than an incomplete pan set.
A Woolworths spokesperson told nine.com.au that they have “simply increased stock levels across the country to meet demand.”
“We know that many of our customers have entered our Fissler cookware giveaway, collecting credits to redeem the pots and pans in stores.
“Most stores now get deliveries a few times a week.”

“While the 8-inch and 11-inch skillets are currently the most popular choices, the Wok is quickly becoming the must-have item as more and more customers reach their points goals,” the spokesperson continued.
“Our teams are working hard all day to restock the shelves and we encourage customers to ask a team member if they can’t find exactly what they’re looking for.”
A recent one Reddit thread perfectly summarized shopper frustrations.
“What exactly is the point,” the message began next to a screenshot of four Fissler products listed as “unavailable.”
“Why am I collecting cookware credits when that cookware is out of stock at almost every Woolies near me?”
Woolworths launched its Fissler cookware promotion on March 18, earning one cookware credit for every $20 spent in one transaction. Customers can increase their balance by choosing participating items.

The range includes two stainless steel pans, a wok, a saucepan, a frying pan and a spatula. 20-100 credits are required to redeem each item.
Fissler cooking credits cannot be redeemed online at Woolworths.
Although you can earn credits through online shopping by linking your Everyday Rewards card, you must only redeem them in-store at Woolworths Supermarkets or selected Metro stores.
The promotion runs until July 7.

A Coles spokesperson told nine.com.au: “We’ve loved seeing customer excitement about our KitchenAid cookware range, with pieces flying off shelves across the country.
“Through May 19, customers can continue to earn cooking credits whenever they spend $20 or more in a single transaction in-store and online.
“But because supplies are still limited, we encourage customers to redeem their remaining credits while they still can.”

Although you can earn cookware credits by shopping at Coles Online, you can only redeem the cookware in-store at a Coles supermarket.
Customers who do not have enough cookware points for Woolworths and Coles cookware items can make a co-payment or purchase directly, and cooking credits cannot be transferred.
