Two people found dead in home near Hobart

Emergency services were called shortly after 10am to a house in Campania, 30km north of Hobart, where the man and woman were found dead by paramedics, Detective Inspector David Gill said.

“Our initial investigation indicates that the incident occurred within the home and at this stage police do not believe anyone else was involved,” he said.

“A crime scene has been declared and there is no evidence of any ongoing threat to the community.”

“Crime scene investigators and forensic services remain on scene to investigate.”
