Princess Eugenie pregnant: Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank announce they’re expecting their third child together

Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their third child together.

Buckingham Palace made the announcement Monday evening, saying her uncle, King Charles, is “delighted” with the news

“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together this summer,” the announcement said.

“Augustus (5 years old) and Ernest (2 years old) are also very happy that another brother or sister is joining the family.

“His Majesty the King has been informed and is pleased with the news.”

Eugenie, 36, also shared a photo of her two children with an ultrasound photo, captioning it: “Baby Brooksbank due in 2026! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👶🏻♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️.”

Their child will be 15th in line to the throne, ahead of Eugenie’s great-uncle, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward.

The news comes just hours later Eugenie broke her silence on social media at 24 weeks to share a post in honor of her husband’s 40th birthday.

“Happy 40th my love,” the royal captioned the adorable photos.

One depicted her longtime love lying on a beach in an undisclosed location, while another showed him playing with one of the couple’s two sons.

Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice, 37, have both been laying low as their father made headlines for his links to now-convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Formerly Prince Andrew, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was recently stripped of his royal title and moved from the Royal Lodge.

The scandal is now overshadows the daily work of the royal familyThis prompted King Charles to recently express his “deep concern at the allegations that continue to emerge” about Andrew’s “conduct”.

Andrew was arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office and released under investigation. He has always denied any wrongdoing.

Their mother, the former Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, has remained out of the public eye since October 2025 when emails from her to Epstein were revealed, in which she called him a “supreme friend” and even asked him to hire her.

Since then she has been seen only rarely. most recently in April, when she was spotted at a luxury ski resort in the Austrian Alps.
